MY WORK

Across all of my courses—from foundational mathematics to advanced collegiate-level computer science—my mission is to eliminate the barriers to complex logic and prepare students to thrive in a limitless world. 

In this space, you will find the artifacts, scaffolds, and student growth models that define my integrated classroom. No matter the subject, every course I teach operates under a shared philosophy: learning requires active thinking, not passive mimicry.

Rote Mimicry: Students copy a teacher's exact procedure and memorize steps for an isolated test.
Genuine Discovery: Students collaborate on non-permanent surfaces to unearth mathematical and computational logic themselves.
Siloed Concepts: Math is taught as abstract formulas on paper and Computer Science is treated as just typing
Connected Systems: Math is the engine behind the code. Students see how algebraic logic dictates algorithm design and cybersecurity infrastructure.
Testing the Static: Grades often inadvertently penalize a student's spatial disorganization or executive functioning challenges
Testing the Logic: Graphic organizers and structured scaffolds manage the cognitive load, allowing student intelligence to shine through.
Private Failure: Mistakes are hidden in traditional notebooks, leading to frustration and erased work.
Visible Iteration: Mistakes are made out loud on whiteboards, instantly refined by the collective logic of student teams.
